January 26, 2010 Miami, FL (January 26, 2010).- Fabian Garcia Diaz, senior Realtor® associate with Fortune International Realty has just sold a piece of land, located in the heart of Brickell, to The City of Miami. According to Fabian, the only Realtor involved in the transaction, The City of Miami has decided to use the site to build a recreational park. He states that the $ 2,437,500 recorded sale price of this land is a sign that property values are still holding strong in the Brickell area.
On Friday 15th 2010, the City of Miami acquired the 0.81 acres (approximately 35,500 sq. ft.) site 1814 Brickell Avenue. Fabian Garcia-Diaz confirmed that the Tibor & Sheila Hollo charitable foundation donated additional funds to facilitate the deal. Garcia-Diaz also informed that the City is planning a children’s playground, a pet area and green areas for all Brickell residents to enjoy. “This transaction” Fabian says, “gives recognition to the fact that Brickell is becoming more populated by young families and that green areas are vital for all.
